South Western Command Talent Hunt

Army Public School, Jaipur was fortunate enough to host the first ever South Western Command Talent Hunt on 3 May 2019. The function was graced by Honourable Chief Guest, Lt Gen Cherish Mathson , PVSM, SM, VSM, the GOC-in-C, South Western Command and Patron, Board of Administration, Army Public Schools in South Western Command, the Guest of Honour, Mrs Mareena Mathson , Regional President AWWA and other distinguished guests. All 17 Army Public Schools in South Western Command participated in this event.

The Chief Guest was welcomed by Maj Gen BP Singh, MG EME, South Western Command and Patron, Army Public School, Jaipur. Mrs Sangeeta Singh welcomed the Guest of Honour. The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour. It was followed by Ganesh Vandana to make way for unhindered progress of the event. All the participants were full of confidence and enthusiasm, prior to their performances. There were dance competitions comprised of free style, solo and group dance under various categories like Western, Classical, Folk and Fusion. Music categories had also solo and group performances in vocal, instrumental as well as bands.

The scintillating performances created a visual feast for the audience as it displayed the young budding talents on the stage with so much gusto. The ambience complimented by the mind blowing presentation of Mehendi Corner, Art Gallery, Tattoo Corner, lighting and song which left everyone at the venue spellbound.
The judges had a brainstorming session over the neck to neck performances to come to their judgment.
